Sentry tells Quill about Breeze’s aborted plan and Aila realises that Breeze is only alive because he has murdered many people. Other than a faint sobbing coming from Scout, who is cradling the still body of Tracker, it is generally silent Chipper has moved over to them and kneels beside them quietly as Tracker says something to them very faintly. While he is tied with loose ropes, he is still unable to move or speak with only his eyes widened and scanning around the room. Sentry uses Lay on Hands on the Ashbringer which brings colour back to his face. Meanwhile, Scout is cradling Tracker, whose life force is extremely weak – there is a faint flicker of light, but he is fading away: he is beyond saving, and this is his natural life span fading away. The ritual circle, likely painted in blood, is now a dull red the body of the Ashbringer is alive, but he is pale, and his veins are showing. The team made a difficult decision in the last episode, let's see if it all pays off!īreeze has turned to mist and left the crypt through the ceiling, although the party does not know how far away he might be – they know that Scout mentioned an entrance to the Temple of Kellara nearby but they have not seen one. Badly wounded, Breeze consumed a potion, turned to mist, and escaped into the cracks in the chamber's ceiling, which you believe leads to the temple of Kellara, the goddess of death, above." Sentry, though initially uncertain, chose to save the Ashbringer and disrupt the ritual, and a battle ensued. Suspicious, the party decided to go to a crypt chamber where Breeze would conduct a ritual to save Tracker, where it turned out that he had captured a member of the Ashbringers who had plotted to kill a local shopkeeper, and intended to sacrifice him in order to save Tracker. The two discussed a way to save another Guardian called Tracker, who is nearing the end of his lifespan. The party have also been helping Sentry, the Guardian paladin, meet with another of her kind called Breeze. Having clashed with them once in the temple of H'esper, the party witnessed a public statement by the Abbotess of the local Brightflame Abbey, denouncing these Ashbringers, and a tense conversation followed, where she attempted to praise the party for their actions. The party have encountered a group of religious zealots called the Ashbringers, who operate within the church of the sun god Palador.
